Youtube links for testing google analytics

 

1. The "Outbound Click" Test

These links will trigger the click event in GA4 because they take the user away from your blog.

    • Why:       This is the site the Google Demo Account uses. It’s a great way to "link" your learning between your site and theirs.

  • Analytics Mania (Expert Resource): https://www.analyticsmania.com/

    • Why: This is one of the best blogs for learning GA4. Clicking this will let you see the link_url parameter in your reports later.

2. The "Video Engagement" Test

GA4 can track when people click "Play," "Progress" (past 50%), and "Complete" on a YouTube video embedded in your site.

Copy and paste these URLs into Blogger's "Insert Video from YouTube" tool:
